Where can I get a maintenance plan?

Our maintenance plans are available only from participating vehicle dealerships and partnering vehicle warranty companies; they are not available direct to consumer at this time.

Is my maintenance plan an extended vehicle warranty?

The maintenance plan is not an extended vehicle warranty, and we do not offer, sell, or service vehicle warranty products. Our maintenance plan is designed to save you some money on your maintenance and service not covered by an extended vehicle warranty. If you are interested in purchasing an extended vehicle warranty, please contact your dealership or a reputable warranty company.

Note: The maintenance plan does not compete or interfere with any manufacturer or extended vehicle warranty.

Where is my maintenance plan accepted?

We partner with reputable, national brand service centers; more than 6,000 locations coast-to-coast and growing. Your maintenance plan is valid at any Firestone Complete Auto Care (corporate locations only), Monro family of brands location, Pep Boys, or Take 5 Oil Change.

What if there is not a participating service center in my area?

We partner with more than 6,000 participating service center locations coast-to-coast. We do our very best to ensure there are participating service centers in metro areas. However, there may be some rural areas where there is no service coverage. In these instances, please contact us at support@carcarepromotions.com so we can explore options.

What if the participating service center is not familiar with my maintenance plan?

The maintenance plan is accepted at more than 6,000 service centers coast-to-coast. It is possible that a specific location or service advisor is unfamiliar with the maintenance plan. Please do not allow the service advisor to turn you away or write the estimate and/or service work order without applying your maintenance plan account number. If there are any issues, please have the service advisor contact us directly while you are at the service center. Our support team will gladly assist the service advisor to ensure your estimate and/or service work order is written correctly.

What if I am unhappy with the service rendered by the service center?

We want our plan holders to have the best possible experience at our participating service centers. In the unlikely event you have concerns with a service advisor or the work performed, please contact the service center and ask to speak directly to the service manager.

What services are covered under my maintenance plan?

Above is an overview of the benefits and coverage afforded under your maintenance plan. For a detailed explanation of benefits specific to any service, we recommend you visit a participating location, provide the respective account number, and request an estimate prior to authorizing service detailing the coverage under the maintenance plan and your financial responsibility.

Are services free using my maintenance plan?

The maintenance plan is designed to save you some money on your maintenance and service at participating service centers. Some courtesy services may be complimentary, depending on the service center, and may be covered under your maintenance plan (ex. A/C performance check, brake inspection, multi-point inspection and fluid top off with oil change service, etc.), but the maintenance plan does not cover the cost of service in full like an extended warranty might. We recommend you discuss your situation in detail with your service advisor and always request an estimate (including any savings afforded under the maintenance plan) prior to authorizing service.

Note: No person (dealership, service center, or warranty company) is authorized to overstate the benefits and coverage of the maintenance plan. Please contact support@carcarepromotions with questions, comments, or concerns.

Can I get a refund after paying the service center?

CARCARE Promotions does not accept nor refund any payments direcly from/to plan holders. All financial transactions for service are directly between the plan holder and service center.

We always recommend plan holders provide their maintenance plan account number to the service advisor upon arrival and prior to authorizing service, and to request an estimate including any savings afforded under the maintenance plan so they are fully aware of the maintenance plan savings and their financial responsibility to the service cener.

Do I need to notify CARCARE Promotions if my address changes?

The quick answer is, no. Once you have activated your maintenance plan, should you move, there is no need to contact us to update your address.

What if I want to cancel my maintenance plan?

Our maintenance plans are available only from participating vehicle dealerships and partnering vehicle warranty companies; they are not available direct to consumer at this time. These companies issue a maintenance plan as a perk for doing business with them, and under our agreement, they are expressly prohibited from charging for the maintenance plan. Because nothing is paid for the maintenance plan, there is nothing to cancel.
